Business Documents
This section defines the layout principles, structural constraints, and multi-page consistency rules for Visionbay.ai business documents, including purchase orders and contract documents.
Overview
Business documents are form-driven and content-dense materials that require a stable identity system, controlled margins, and predictable content boundaries. The purpose of this system is to ensure that operational clarity and document structure remain consistent across administrative and contractual applications.
Purchase Order Structure
The Header Identity Zone in purchase order documents is reserved for primary brand identification and document classification.
Key Specifications
- Fixed header height: 15 mm
- Logo zone: 50 mm
- Meta information zone: 110 mm
- Document size: Letter (216 × 279 mm)
Rules
- No body content, form fields, or tables may intrude into the header identity area.
- Left and right margins define a strict content box width of 160.0 mm.
- Tables, section bars, rules, and footers must remain inside the content box boundary.
- No visual elements may bleed into the margin area.
Purchase Order Layout Preview
Business documents may use flexible vertical spacing, provided that structural consistency is preserved.
The following principles apply:
- Content must flow downward from the header identity area.
- Section spacing may expand or contract according to content volume.
- Clear visual separation between sections must be maintained.
- Forms and tabular information must remain legible and aligned to the document grid.
Contract Structure
Contract documents follow the same identity logic while introducing confidentiality and multi-page stability requirements.
Key Specifications
- Logo zone: 50 mm
- Meta information zone: 130 mm
- Top safety margin: 15 mm
- Document size: A4 (210 × 297 mm)
Rules
- The Header Identity Zone must remain visually clean and structurally consistent across all contract pages.
- The "Confidential" marking must appear within the Meta Information Zone and remain consistently positioned across the document set.
- Contract content must remain within the defined content boundaries at all times.
Multi-page Consistency
All pages within a contract document set must share the same header identity system.
The following elements must remain consistent:
- logo placement
- header height
- meta information alignment
- confidentiality marking
- page numbering logic
Cover Page
The cover page may include the contract title and summarized party information. Its visual hierarchy may differ from inner pages, provided that the Header Identity Zone and overall brand alignment remain unchanged.
Contract Cover — Light Version / Brand Version
Inner Pages
Inner pages must prioritize readability and clause clarity. Clause spacing, numbering logic, and indentation must remain stable throughout the document set.
Contract and Purchase Order Integration
When a purchase order or quotation is used as a contractual appendix or referenced document, the same brand identity rules must continue to apply.
- Appendices must be clearly identified in the main contract text.
- Page numbering may be independent or continuous, but one system must be selected and applied consistently.
- Shared brand rules for logo, typography, and color usage must remain aligned across the full document set.
Example Set
The example set demonstrates how purchase orders and contract pages can coexist within one system while preserving structural consistency. It should be used as a visual reference for alignment, hierarchy, and cross-document continuity.
